H01 OUR FIRST CAMP LAYER

Veteran owned.Firefighter operated.Hippie at heart.

Introducing Uncle Benny’s Favorite:
“The Drug Rug.”

An easygoing camp-layer concept with a leather-laced mock collar, a cleaner Baja silhouette, and a slightly unruly streak.

Currently in development. Not available to order yet.

THE DETAILS DO THE TALKING

Looks laid-back.
Thought through.

We’re working toward the layer you keep reaching for. Here’s what’s going into the first sample.

01 / UP TOP

A collar with character.

A relaxed mock collar with leather cross-lacing, brass eyelets, and separate braided hood cords. A three-panel hood is part of the sample plan.

02 / ROUGH AROUND THE EDGES

A little wear. A little restraint.

Fitted rib-knit cuffs with a worn-in outer edge. The intent is familiar and lived-in, with the cuff’s shape and recovery kept intact.

03 / HANDS WELCOME

A soft spot for your hands.

A deep kangaroo pocket with thin oatmeal sherpa planned inside the pocket only. A small UB tab keeps the outside quiet.

THE LIFE AROUND THE LAYER

For the life
you come
home to.

Soccer sidelines. Bonfire nights.
Your people, right there with you.

Uncle Benny’s is for people who put their names on the dotted line for others, and for the lives they build beyond that service.

These days, the sidelines at your kid’s soccer game might be exactly where you want to be. A few loved ones around a bonfire. The phone put away. Enough time to sit, laugh, and be there.

We want more of that. More time outside, more time with our people, and a little room for the hippie in the next chapter.

Good layers. More time together.

A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER

Why this
matters to me.

Benjamin
Army veteran. Firefighter. Founder.

I’m an Army veteran and a firefighter. I’ve struggled with TBI and PTSD, and I’ve tried a lot in the search for relief.

For me, DSR helped more than anything else I’d tried for PTSD.

That’s my personal experience. Results vary, and what helped me may not be right for someone else.

It’s why I want giving back to be part of Uncle Benny’s. I want to help combat veterans and first responders access care, and build something around the life we want more of: getting outside, putting down our devices, and being with the people we love.

COMFORT, TAKEN SERIOUSLY

Settle into
something good.

We’re developing Uncle Benny’s with an ambitious standard: seriously high-end comfort for people who have given a lot of themselves.

That starts with the feel of the fabric, room to move, and details worth getting right. Vintage outdoor character. A cleaner-fitting Baja silhouette. A layer you want close on an ordinary, good day.

H01 is still in development. Materials, fit, and construction will be tested through physical samples before we make promises about the finished garment.

WHY WE WANT TO GIVE BACK

Because it’s the
right thing to do.

Our goal is to support Erase PTSD Now and help combat veterans and first responders access PTSD care.

Erase PTSD Now helps fund access to stellate ganglion block (SGB) treatment for people facing financial barriers. We want giving back to be part of what Uncle Benny’s grows into.

FROM IDEA TO EVERYDAY FAVORITE

Worth the wait.
We hope.

H01 is in development. We’re taking the concept through materials, pattern work, and physical sampling before making production promises.

  1. 01
    The idea

    Design direction established.

  2. 02
    The real thing

    Materials, pattern work, and sampling.

  3. 03
    The release

After the sample earns its keep. Date to come.

What’s the fabric direction?

Natural-fiber woven cloth with a soft hand is the goal. Hemp, hemp/wool, and hemp/merino options are being considered. The final blend, weight, feel, and care instructions will follow swatch and sample testing.

Will it look exactly like the pictures?

These are approved AI concept renderings, not photographs of a finished garment. They show the visual direction. The first sample is targeted in charcoal; the final fabric, color, fit, and construction still need to be worked through.

Is the whole hoodie sherpa-lined?

No. Thin, low-bulk oatmeal sherpa is planned for the hand-contact interior of the kangaroo pocket only. Its exact composition and construction are still being developed.

When can I get one?

There isn’t a confirmed release date, price, or size range yet. We’re focused on getting a physical sample right before opening orders.
